This is a recipe by by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall which he calls a ‘Banana and oat thickie’. I’ve called it a smoothie purely because I don’t think many people will have heard of the term ‘thickie’. I reckon this works out at about 70p a portion.
This is a delicious mildly spiced soup that works out at only 55p a portion, making 12 portions in total which can be frozen. I like to freeze mine in individual portions.
